Ways of Reading

This article first appeared in a traditional linear format in Substance #147. It turns out that the concepts gleaned from the works of fiction are highly inter-related and form a complex network. Presented here is the same article as an interactive object that experimentally attempts to foreground the connections between the concepts.

There are therefore two ways of reading what follows:
1. Linearly by following the path indicated at the end of each section or by clicking on the arrows in the margins.
