Discern Your Path

2
PETRIVERSE in all caps refers to this digital project as a whole. You can peruse the polymorphous PETRIVERSE by perambulating paths that present themselves on pages. If you experience perturbation from disorientation, permit yourself to persist and you will not fail to prevail in the end.

In the initial Artist's Statement, PETRIVERSE was presented as "a labyrinth, a virtual garden of forking paths." Its structure is more accurately characterized as arboreal: reading these first pages, you have moved up the trunk of the tree. Now the trunk forks into branches. These main branches will fork into smaller ones. When you have gone all the way out on a limb (reached the end of the last path of a main branch), your crowning achievement will be rewarded with another main branch to explore.

PETRIVERSE composes a life in stone cultivated by
1) collecting and working with stones (Rocking the Garden);
2) evincing a philosophy that grows organically from these practices (Stoned Thinking);
3) evoking a language that grows organically from these practices (Petric Poetics).
